The Vampire Lestat trailer

In order to apply for the animation course i needed a sample storyboard of anything i liked so i chose a trailer for an anne rice novel that could be a film. I wanted it to be animated and not show anything from the actual movie or be made of really fast paced clips. This was designed to entice as it would be completely different to other ads.

why wasnt the vampire lestat made into its own movie? we saw a little bit of it in queen of the damned but i not enough. i didnt really care for the book"queen of the damned" and the movie was even more disappointing. i alway thouhgt that the vampire lestat would have surpassed interview with the vampire as a movie as it did in the book. am i alone in thinking that we learned more about lestat and the rest of the vampire cast in "the vampire lestat", or what??

@mourningstar01 No, you are not alone. the queen of the damned was terrible. It had part of "The vampire Lestat", but it was terrible, Stuart townsend didn't know how to be Lestat, and he was brown-eyed and had brown hair, his factions weren't fine and delicated. The Vampire Lestat is a very good book (I've read it) and I hope that, if they make a movie about it, it is a good movie

well it is kinda weird that anne rice made all of her main male characters gay. they tried to downplay it in queen of the damned and interview with a vampire the movies but something is wrong with her sexually. all the men are gay, incestuous, pedophiles. they take small boys as lovers, eventually turning them into vampires or killing them. i think she's a misandrist, because there's really no other explanation as to why she would make all her male leads gay. it just doesn't work that way.

OMG espero que sea una buena peli como entrevista con el vampiro,no como la reina de los condenados,quiero decir...en la reina de los condenados,Lestat tenía ojos cafés y pelo castaño, a demás, no se veía su amor por los mortales, ni so filosofía. No sé Stuart no supo representarlo bien.
