CEO of Baptist Health Discusses Improving Patient Care At Doctors Hospital

CEO, Nelson Lazo met with Coral Gables TV to report on the transition of coming to Baptist Health and improvements being made to patient care. Doctors Hospital continues to be one of the top hospitals in Florida with top orthopedics and sports medicine doctors as well as specializing in Gamma Knife. Baptist Health continues their strong community involvement and wants to be seen as a company that continues to give back. The hospital is continuing to expand and stay the leader and in the forefront of these and other specialties to provide patient care at Doctors Hospital. Mr. Lazo talks about upcoming goals with the Center for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine and ways to improve patient care by moving and expanding physical therapy and outpatient services outside of the hospital facility. In addition Baptist Health South Florida is opening Urgent Care and Diagnostic Centers in Coral Gables that will decompress the emergency room at Doctors Hospital and ease of use to the facility.
