@bloodymkc Hall Jordan= better. JS= black green lantern not so much....but yeah he is race excuse card, so I will have to agree, beside's he has hawk girl...he loves them drumsticks!

If the chests are the weak points shouldn't they be more heavily armored?

@sethbandit Well the cartoon could do a better job explaining it and in fact the comics themselves haven't always been consistant with it. Still, generally it's stated that the wings are artifical and that they won't work without the Nth metal in the suit. It's also been stated (at least in the Justice Leauge cartoon) that Nth metal effected magic and phasing technology. :)

Something everyone is forgeting. Hawkman's wings aren't real. They're artifical and part of his costume. He also has something called Nth metal which makes the himself and whole rig light enough to fly and he has to have both for them to work.

@sethbandit It's the Nth metal. The comics make it clear that without the Nth metal in his costume he wouldn't be able to fly and the process drained the Nth metal of it's power just like it did with GL's power ring.
