In 1970, Alan Siegel created the NBA's iconic logo, based on a picture of Los Angeles Lakers' star Jerry West dribbling up the basketball court. Today this logo, with its white silhouette against a red and blue field, is recognized as one of the premier visual identities for any worldwide brand.
