i wish i could swim
high above the rain
where the seagulls float
in sunshine's domain

where crystal filled pillows
hold my shadow's shape
as i glide carelessly above
in a place where i can escape

up here i can admire
all i cannot reach
places above my head
unknowns have much to teach

in this place i feel free
nothing to distress
up high in serenity
i feel weightless

and as i descend
i say my goodbyes
but i cant help pretend
i'm back up in the skies
