First off: the USA did not invade Iraq until Saddam threatened the petro-dollar. Second, the point of these past presidents is to bankrupt the USA. US soldiers are undereducated, undertrained, and the new regime is pro-Iran - and will start the bloodbath of reprisals as soon as US soldiers leave. But the locals there appreciate that Saddam is dead.

Many people in Iraq are happy about Saddam being gone, all other things being equal. Of course, all other things are *not* equal. Used to be you got killed if you made anti-Saddam noises. Now you just get killed randomly. Thanks USA!

Just look at the number of deaths, the number of people who've taken refuge in other countries.
