Pensacola Councilman Brian Spencer Sets Sights on Downtown Improvement Board Executive Director

Pensacola City Councilman Brian Spencer has more hats than Imelda Marcos had shoes. He's the chairman of the Community Redevelopment Agency; he's on the Gateway Review Board (along with architect partner Philip D. Partington and close associate Christian Wagley); he's on the board of the Community Maritime Park Associates (in charge of a $64-million baseball stadium project); and a member of the Downtown Improvement Board. He is supporting a merging of the Governmental District into a major Maritime Park Redevelopment District. It seems he is absorbing every committee that has anything to do with this. Meanwhile, all of his plans seem to be being kept a secret from the public. Guess we'll find out when he has all his sitting ducks in a row.
