The best soccer teams in Tasmania will play off for the ultimate glory over the coming weeks in the Forestry Tasmania Premier League Finals Series.

Winning teams from both the northern and the southern premier leagues will take part in the finals series which will be run over three weeks from August 29.

The first round played on Saturday, August 29 saw the Tilford Zebras, South Hobart and Glenorchy Knights make it through to the semi finals. The Northern Rangers v Clarence game was called off due to poor weather conditions and has been rescheduled to Birch Avenue at 2.00pm Saturday, September 5.

The semi finals will be played on Saturday, September 12 before the states two top teams take on each other in the grand final on Friday, September 18. This grand final will decide which Tasmanian team will be state champions of the Forestry Tasmania Premier League Finals Series for 2009.
