The Kingdom of Croatia (Croatian: Kraljevina Hrvatska), also known as the Kingdom of the Croats (Croatian: Kraljevstvo Hrvata; Latin: Regnum Chroatorum or Regnum Croatorum), was a medieval kingdom covering most of what is today Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Balkans.

Established in 925, it ruled as a sovereign state for almost two centuries. Its existence was characterized by various conflicts with the Venetians, Bulgarians, Magyars and, occasionally, the Pope. The goal of promoting the Slavic language in the religious service was initially brought and introduced by a 10th century native bishop Gregory of Nin. 1102, after a period of time definded as a succession crisis for the Trpimirović Dynasty, the kingdom lost its full-scale sovereignty by the creation of a personal union with the Kingdom of Hungary. The Croatian kingdom de jure existed until 1918.

  • Croatia is great Country!

    Croatia and Hungary Friends Forever!

    Greetings from Hungary!

  • @PartizanFans These are the same Croats that saved Serbia in the 10th century from bulgarian invasion, the same Croats that welcomed fleeing serbs in the 15th century against invading ottoman turks. Bosanska Krajina is courtesy of Croatia. When if ever did Serbs go out of there way to help Croatia... never... thats the difference between Serbs and Croats

  • Имали два краља без материјалног доказа да су били краљеви и ти направио клип ко да сте били Рим или Кина. Свашта...

  • @ImperialGuard9001 thanks Serbia created Yugoslavia, the Serbian victories was created artificial creation of Yugoslavia, when the Croats wanted to leave Yugoslavia, we are not allowed to Serbs as Yugoslavia nasa, mojep radede were killed in Yugoslavia that is only one survived by six brothers to After some Croats deny the success of Serbia in World War I, Croats for 800 years of rule Austrians and Hungarians in their territory had only 3 to be participated in these rebellions 200-300 people ..

  • @ImperialGuard9001 Croats are rubbish Europe, genocidal creation, the only nation in the world whose state holiday was declared for the Croatian genocide ....

  • And Croats and Serbs animosity during those times were great tragedy but you forget that Croats fough against the state of Yugoslavia not the existance of Serbia of course Nationalism play its role but when Croats revolted was agaisnt Yugoslavia and for a need of Self Determanation and Freedom they didnt fough to erase Serbia or Serbs but only for survival. For time there was some form of aggrement betwen the two alas it didnt last I hate NATO intervention in that matter

  • So Croats did continue living such as many peoples such as Serbs that have a very diverse poltical history when Ottomans came if I recall there was no King but the local powers of aristocracy church and people were still present and they indeed united under one banner and face them at Kosovo there was no Serbian King there but hell there surely didnt miss Serbian Heroes. Yugoslavian Wars were mess all sides comited crimes and I think all fough for survival of ones people.

  • @PartizanFans I dont think this place for such discussion but even so the Croats didnt have state didnt matter you forget that until Libearlism States have very little power compared with modern times with exception of Roman-Byzantines. So states or what we would call state that werent even called states play a very limited role they were crucial but peoples could live withoud them at all Regionalism and Local powers from the People Nobles and Church were very strong.

  • @ImperialGuard9001 So if you really want to know the Croatian state was gone at the end of the 11th century, a Serbian state survived until the mid-15, Serbia, Bulgaria and Greece are countries that have given all in defense of Europe, and the Croats feces European stork, in Jasenovac in 1941 killed 700 000 people, while the Serbs in World War II brought the first victory of the Entente and lost 50% of the male population !!!
