What a virtuoso! The hall used to be called "North Hall", and long ago we rehearsed the Peabody orchestra there, did student composer readings, etc. (Yes, I am from Peabody, too). BTW, Mr. Hell is performing ALL the works of Bach soon over a short period of time. Read it in the JHU magazine...

This is my all time favorite Bach Fugue. I would have loved to hear the Prelude too. Also would have loved to hear a performance straight through without the talking.
