Neato! I saw Felix's 500th professional concert. I think he was 16 at the time. I was blown away then and he's only gotten better.

Felix is playing the Fugue in D Major S.532, which was based on the earlier one by Pachelbel.

What a virtuoso! The hall used to be called "North Hall", and long ago we rehearsed the Peabody orchestra there, did student composer readings, etc. (Yes, I am from Peabody, too). BTW, Mr. Hell is performing ALL the works of Bach soon over a short period of time. Read it in the JHU magazine...

Wow,An amazing performance.He has a very interesting take on the Fugue. I never thought of this particular fugue as being "a dance". Unlike Bachs D major "Gigue Fugue" BWV577... He also plays Boellmanns Suite Gothique very well.
