Hanging off the skids while shooting, I thought to myself: "Self, I said: There isn't an amusement park on the planet that offers a ride like this." E-Ticket rush all the way! Especially in the tight turns.
I am shooting an episode of "The History Channel's - Popular Mechanics 101 Weapons that Changed The World". We shot a lot of air to ground target footage using Dillon Aero's M134D mounted to their classic Huey Gunship. That Huey has been restored to pristine condition.
We had a few THOUSAND rounds of extra 7.62, 1:5 tracer:ball, left over sooooooo...MACHINE GUN MADNESS!!! It is truly a rush firing the M134D and as always, the guys at Dillon are the most professional and funnest people to work / shoot with.
BTW, the shirt I'm wearing is very comfortable.
