@daveisdragon. Read further down on Perrins page. Without mods and a stock ecu you can run the cai without a tune. If your running an access port and turboback exhaust you need to have a tune.

Kinda scary how much movement that things has in there. Isn't it suppose to be solidly bolted down? Sounds pretty cool though.

@ejicon It is only moving with the motor. I've had this on my car for four or five months now and it is as secure as the day I installed it. I did need a tune from Perrin though, only because it is not N/A and will run way to lean under boost.

@pedigo1 according to Perrin, you don't need a tune with this CAI. . . are they B.S.'ing?? How lean did it run?

@DrewII perrin is one of the few cai that can be installed without a tune, (although im sure theres more power to be had with one) the maf housing is the same size and doesnt mess with the factory set afr's. all this info is on perrin's website

how are the cars AFRs? has the car been tuned to compensate for AFR issues?
