Great music! Who is this artist?

@bmayn4444 this isn't the shuttle. It's the Ariane 5 rocket, used for (as far as we know) unmanned payloads.

please tell us the music's name!

Hello, how many times did you increased the speed ? Txs for answer.
-
Most Ariane 5 missions go to a geostationary transfer orbit (250km x 36,000km) but it has also launched earth escape missions like Rosetta (to comet 67P/Tschurjumow-Gerasimenko) or the Herschel and Planck space telescopes to the second lagrangian point and will place the James Webb Space Telescope at this same spot. So the final altitude would be "infinite", if you want ;-)
That's just beautiful. Didn't know it went that high that fast. How high will it be after 4 minutes?

@Orbionnicle This video was indeed increased in speed. After 4 minutes in real world, it will be around 126 km altitude.

How long does it take for this thing to reach supersonic velocity?
sadekgheidan 1 year ago
@sadekgheidan In real word, Ariane 5 reaches supersonic ( = 340 m/s = 0.34 km/s) velocity 50 seconds after launch. Acceleration continues to an astonishing velocity of 27900 km/h = 7.75 km/s for a circular orbit at 250 km altitude.
