Mortal Kombat Rebirth

Update: It' a short viral trailer made by Kevin Tancharoen. Actress Jeri Ryan who plays Sonya Blade in this commented on her twitter saying, "It's not a game trailer. Actually was made for the director to sell WB his vision for a reimagined MK film." A much darker and dirty feel to the series.

I like it. I know MK is not really "down to earth" but the short still contains supernatural elements. And since Ed Boon is bringing his series more back to earth in the game realm it would fit. The acting, the direction, the editing, everything about this short IMO was awesome.

hahahah.........the baby birth shows is reall and that baby was born in Gilgit Pakistan and it was from SAMA NEWS TV..........n they implied it as the baby become baraka but that baby had died the very next day

@EvisceratorBand A lot of other characters had really interesting stories too if you check them out. Did you play Deception? That was probably the best story-driven game of the series along with the MK3 series. And Johnny Cage is my favorite so I'm not too thrilled about that, but what can you do? I'm hoping to see the entire Black Dragon in this one.

@xobrentox The only thing I liked about the original storyline was Scorpion's back story and that's what this movie is being faithful to. I didn't care much for Liu Kang being the chosen one or whatever. With all the gore going on, Johnny Cage being dead and Scorpion being the main character, I'm sure that this film will at least satisfy me. I've always wanted to see an MK movie based on Scorpion.

@bassmzero Yes you're right. The director that made this video wanted to sell this version to WB. Jeri Ryan, the actress who played Sonya Blade confirmed this. We'll see if it happens.
