Some people just take SO MUCH for granted - it's not even FUNNY! They don't even UNDERSTAND how GOOD their life is....until something awful makes it shorten - like cancer or something like that. Be thankful for EVERYTHING you have, folks. Jesus Christ makes life RICHER!

@ThexLadyxSara Nope! One of the girls (the one in the middle) who wrote the song, wrote it for a friend she had who was killed by a drunk driver at the age of 17.

My best friend committed suicide when he was 17 and I will never forget him. What really hits me when I listen to this is he was pronounced dead on the 17th..

a guy from my high school died at 18 2 years ago. I'll never forget him :'(

all these comparisons to fictional characters is ruining the point of the song. This song is about a real person who actually tragically died. Not some dude from Degrassi, character from Twighlight or character off Kingdom Hearts or some other senseless anime/cartoon. This is a seriously sad song. Don't disprespect :/
