2010 Honda Freed Start-Up and Full Vehicle Tour

First launched in Japan in 2008, the Honda Freed was later exported to Indonesia to be sold and eventually, Honda's plant in Indonesia started making the cars for S.E. Asian countries. Thailand and Singapore were among the first to get it last year, and it was launched in Malaysia today at a price of RM112,980. This car only has one spec, and it shares the same engine/transmission as the Honda City/Honda Jazz and it's based on the aformentioned two cars.

Nice car, thanks for sharing this. VERY quiet engine. I think though that it wouldn't be as adequate in substantial-ness and engine size for American tastes. They prefer the MUCH bigger USDM Odyssey. I really enjoy Asian market cars, though.

@1bentley4ever No prob. The size is much smaller than a CR-V, it's about the size of a Honda City. But space wise, it's pretty comfortable even in the third row.

@Borneomann With the success of the Fit and Kia Soul, I think Americans might take to this, it might do better if it had a larger engine for highway use, maybe if one of their 1.8L or 2.0L would fit in it.
