  • @goldeneggpenguin thanks for this comment :)

  • how does 2 go into 27?? confused!

  • @OliviaNEley this is an improper fraction, meaning the numerator (27) is greater then the denominator (2). So, we must make a mixed number out of it. We do this by asking how many times does 2 go into 27 without going over--the answer is 13, since 2 x 13 = 26. There is one leftover from 27, so you final answer is 13 and 1/2.

  • I used to HATE doing fractions.... ay dios mio, its not so bad afterall. But why don't you have to put the one down as a denominator? Thanks for posting your vids!!

  • You cannot multiply a fraction with a whole number; so you must put the whole number in fraction form. You do this by making a fraction bar and adding a denominator of one.

  • @OliviaNEley your making it into a mixed number 2 does go in to 27 13 but not evenly but after you find out how many nubers are left from 2x13 the left over amount of numbers will become your numerator aka your number on top of the denominator aka the number on the bottom

  • you should definetly be math teacher thanks!!!

  • thanks alote now when i go to school ill understand what iam doing and not be lost

  • this guys a badass!!!! thanks

  • @Zaimah1 reason why he doesnt put 1 as a denominator is because 14 over 1 is the same as 14 makes no difference.

  • thanks... i have a math test tomorrow and i didn't know how to multiply fraction... and the test was on by birthday!.... but thanks for the video it helped me a lot!
