I know I didn't realise he was snaged on line until I played the video back, I saw him swiming badly but I just thought he was just crook! Even cutting the line the hook would have rusted out...

Yeh they are a really nice! I have another short piece of a Port Jackson at night when one had a swim with us, I will dig it out and put it up on youtube :-)

lol, i love this shark. i love it's cool design and shape. it's teeth are really unique.

Sharks don't make very good pets.  1. many are endangered (although not necessarily the Port Jackson) 2. they eat a lot 3. they can quickly outgrow even the biggest aquariums 4. they really need a lot of space to be happy and healthy and while live sharks rule, dead sharks suck

Nice vid. I searched for this shark cause i was fishing this evening on an adelaide jetty, I cought nothing :( but a guy next to me got a port jackson shark in his crabbing net. it was very cool. i had never seen one before, after a few quick pics it got thrown back in the water.

yes, our local pet store sells them but they want a arm and a leg for it. so if you could get one i am willing to pay!
