Anyone notice at the 0:40 mark the enormous amount of black smoke that rolls out of the Z06? Can you say POWER ADDER? A stock ZR1 doesn’t even produce black smoke from a role. Once again, it takes a highly modified Chevy to take down a stock ACR. Too bad not even the ZR1 can touch the ACR at Laguna or Nurburgring. At least the Chevy boys still have the Camaro SS to cling to, oh wait the Mustang GT eats the SS up, dang 2nd place in all efforts:(

@haloninjamagnum vette=power,handling, looks etc, haha, have you seen a C6 vette? It straight up looks like Chevy went to their designers with a picture of a Viper GTS and said, "make it look like that". Open mouth front end, double bubble roof, naca duct type air intake on front of hood, head lights, fast back rear glass etc. Imitation is the highest form of flattery. And the only argument the vette has is "best dollar for dollar" screw that, if that's what you are after get a SRT4 neon.

@haloninjamagnum Look at any comparison test for a 2010 Z06 vs SRT10, Viper wins in all aspects, so how is a vette better? (Video's such as "H2H ep 1" on youtube) Oh and those 11.5 sec 1/4 miles that chevy clams from a stock Z06 have never been repeated by any outside road test I have ever seen. Chevy must have used slicks, with 3.73 gears and a track preped with track bite. I've seen nothing but low 12sec 1/4 miles out of a ZO6, too bad a 96GTS ran low 12s over 15 years ago.

First a 600plusmph prop driven aircraft, yeah, too bad the world record is 528 mph by a highly modded F8F Bearcat, look it up. Second, you say that corvettes are the best, a corvette is for 45 year old women that are living off of their ex-husband's retirement fund. How many middle age women do you see driving Vipers, none, how many do you see driving vettes, a lot.

this is for every one out here that claims viper is better is better than vette!!!! no its not!!!! at least not anymore!!!1 this is 2011 and the general is taking over the game with its all new ls serise of engines!!!!! theyre new 4.8 ls made an astonoshing  700plus hp with a turbo kit all 100% stock!!! at 9 psi if i recall correctly. thumbs up if you know the vette is the best dollar for dollar and engine for engine!! case in point vette= power,handling, looks and barely 100gs.
