So I haven't made an AMV in a LOOOOONG time, but I love this movie way too much not to.

Please let me know what you think. This is technically just a first final draft, so if there are alterations that would really make it better, then of course I'm going to change it.

The video is in chronological order as well. I wanted to make a video capturing the more action-packed/epic feel of the movie, while still making sense (no random Michael-Bay-Splosions for me). I wish I had more time to include a few scenes that I regret cutting, but I think I did well with what time I had. I tried to compose it to really fit with the music, and in "movements" so to speak.
So yeah, while having to cut scenes, I still wanted it to flow so that even if you haven't seen the movie, or only saw it once, that you could follow it logically.

So yeah, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know what you genuinely think.

Also, of course, neither Megamind or "Duel of Fates" belong to me. Megamind belongs to Dreamworks Pictures and "Duel of Fates" belongs to George Lucas Films and John Williams.

  • @twinsRus9791 Thanks! And yeah, I tried to keep that in mind when making it. I wanted the video to be focused on the action and plot regarding Megamind's relationships with MetroMan and Titan/Tighten, without giving away too many spoilers.

I was planning on entering into the music video contest for a convention, since they allow any video stuff, not just anime, but I didn't end up entering it because I wasn't sure if enough people would "get" it. =/ Ah well.

  • This Megamind AMV is really different from all the others I've seen.

I really like how it all goes in chronological order, because it's just like watching the whole movie in only 4 minutes.

Of course, given the music, it's hard to mix in the M+R romance, which is an integral part of the whole plot.

Still, this way at least that part goes unspoiled for those who still haven't seen the movie yet.

    Great job!
