You really could call "A Midsummer Night's Dream" a commentary on high school relationships. In other words, Shakespeare's play is about the nature of love—the way it can be confusing, out of balance, and at times, totally upside-down. But don't expect anything serious—or tragic—about this meditation on romance. "A Midsummer Night's Dream" is all about not taking the difficulties of love too seriously.

  • That was the best summary of the play ever. You were able to explain it without touching on anything that happens in any part of the plot/story. Thumbs up!
