Nick's POV

Joe: Yeah, and you may not SEE us as hurt as you are, but trust me, there are days. And keep in mind, we may not be in as in love as you are. Sure we have strong feelings for our girlfriends, but what you're dealing with is TRUE LOVE. And true love means pain...but it also means a happiness that NO ONE that words just can't describe. Hang in there Nick...I know it's hard.

Nick: It just sounds so easy when you guys say it. I don't know what to do with Kylie anymore. We clicked right off the bat, but I almost feel like we're moving backwards? I love her so much my heart hurts. And I know shutting her off was stupid, but everything was building up inside of me. You just don't know how hard it was for me to be with her, but not really BE WITH HER. I just wanted to embrace her. I don't know how to explain it, I feel like ever since she left for the tour last year, it's as if she took my heart with her and I never fully got it back. I'm not me without her.

Joe: I know, and I think she feels the same way. I don't know if you've noticed lately, but she's just not the same Kylie anymore. She's always distant, and conserved. She's hurting to Nick. You're not alone... the only person that can help you with this, is the person that is feeling the exact same way... and you know it.

Nick: I know, look im really tired guys, so I'm gonna turn in.

Joe gave me a big bear hug and didn't let go for a long time. Kevin did the same, and before Kevin left I held him back.

"Kevin...how is she, when you last left her I mean..."

He looked at me and shook his head.

"Let's put it this way, I never thought it was possible to see Kylie that hurt and vulnerable. Don't beat yourself up about it though Nick, it's a complicated situation...sleep on it, I know you'll do the right thing."

I sighed.

"Thanks Kev love you"

"You too Nick, try to relax, we don't want to worry mom and dad by you getting over stressed okay?"

He left and I collapsed on my bed, falling into an uncomfortable slumber.

Kylie's POV

I woke up the next morning snuggled in the comfort of my own bed. I felt like I tossed and turned all night long. I looked at the clock and it read 11:30. I guess Nolie let me sleep in today. I went into the bathroom and was a little startled to see the person staring back at me in the mirror. My eyes looked sunken yet red from crying, my hair was a hot mess, I looked thinner, and just outright exhausted. I took a long hot shower and came out feeling a lot more rejuvenated.




I gained some color back in my skin and basically didn't look like a zombie any more. I grabbed the two outfits I was going to wear tonight to the show tonight and put them on hangers in an outfit protector. I called Nolie to see where she was. Turns out she was already there getting things ready for tonight with sounds and lighting. Looks like im on my own. I grabbed an apple and changed into some jeans and a t shirt. I put my hair in a loose side pony and put my glasses on. Im sure I'll be getting ready there any ways. All im worried about right now is having a smooth sound check, and trying not to cry. I refuse to cry. I put on some blush and light make up to not make it look like I've been completely miserable.

"This is as good as it gets"

I sighed and grabbed my guitar and headed outside the door. I called a cab and headed to the House of Blues. When I got there I had to take a second to take it all in. This place was truly beautiful. I had almost forgotten about my heartache for a moment. That moment was short lived when I looked up to see Nick playing around with his guitar on stage. Again he looked really distant. His eyes met mine for a split second, but I looked away before I could read his expression. I walked around to the back room and started tuning my guitar and warming up my voice. After about half an hour or so I went on stage. I got my mic and my ear piece set up for my sound check and tested out the lighting.
