@izlude2 I often wonder why the gymnasts don't have better choreographed routines. It seems like there should be points for presentation in artistic gymnastics, otherwise it's just tumbling. The last floor routine that I just loved was Vanessa Atler's 1998. I cringe when I watch Ali Raisman who looks like a tumbling corpse in her floor routine.

@TheJordy456 LOL... some of these excerpts came from past Compulsory Floor Exercises. That's why compulsories are important in this sport and in the sport of figure skating...athletes are forced to learn and to properly execute the basics that are the necessary foundations to being either a great gymnast or figure skater.

Very nice freestyle moves. Nicer to watch and less dangerous than all those sommersaults. It's the same with every sport. When you get other people (judges, organizers, TV network owners etc.) earning money of the sport, THEY start to dictate the sport for THEIR interests. And they always ruin it. The only way to do what you really want to do, is to do circus, or just create your own show.

@ULibby They banned a lot of moves these days, it's a pity. It used to be that folks "knew and agreed" to risks before enrolling, now people just enroll blindly and file lawsuits... I blame such fools for ruining gymnastics forever. A lot of the girls used to fight tooth and nail to perfect their routines, now it's just silly bounce on the foam triangles and games. (My sis was a teacher.) About 10% of a single gym's students press on, continuing training. Serious gyms are hard to find now.
