Magda Piskorczyk, her deep voice and double bass at the most renown Polish jazz club Tygmont in Warsaw. You can find this song with similar instrumentation on Magda's CD "Mahalia" recorded in Honor of Mahalia Jackson in 2011.
Song (lullaby) composed in 1935 by George Gershwin for the opera Porgy and Bess. The lyrics by DuBose Heyward and Ira Gershwin.
This version performed and arranged by Magda Piskorczyk (Blues Vocalist of the Year 2003, 2004, 2006 and 2009 in Poland) with her band. Filmed May 2 and 3, 2007.

Athornus, Magda is always drunk when she sings! Drunk with the spirit... of the music - since she was 4 and started to sing for the public... Seriously, Magda drinks only warm, non-carbonated water before the concert or during it and if you want to play in her band you must be sober too! Let's the music rock and lull! Pozdrawiam.
