  • A) religious brain shuts down. B) atheist brain lights up. A') Religious brain accepts god without thinking. B') Atheist brain thinks god without accepting. conclusion: God belief requires turning off higher thinking to regress back to the point in evolution where mankind fabricated god belief---the recreating of our ancestral mind.

  • @jesussave1979 wrote "sorry if i offend any atheist but i am speaking the truth" No, you're just expressing your _belief_ on the matter, just like everyone else.

  • @Xzibillion Yes the possibility of life exists for other life forms in other galaxies all over. God for us is just a projection of our own image. In fact our own existence is possibly illusory electro chemical signals flowing across the dendrites in our brains to work out the solutions to our personal survival in and of the social group. As for a god i would say get to know the one you are and are a part of as an expression of life.

  • @Xzibillion Religion holds to a mythology of old that does not make sense in our modern world. We as a social being seek to belong to the body of thought that is our culture, but like a mind that has a growing understanding, we out grow older dogmas. As for more, the human family is something more and the universe is something more than ourselves. Community can be found through volunteering. A sense of awe can be found in learning something new and sharing it. Our knowledge grows.

  • @JusticeIsWhere

I just have a question. I'm more like a person who believes less and less in religion but still have this clinging that even if religion is wrong, but there is a God. And by God I dont mean the old man with a beard. I mean a Supreme being, the uncaused cause. If we exist there must be millions of other alien planets with life. There must be something out there.

  • The first 4 minutes did not sound like an atheist video

  • @jesussave1979 Please show evidence of these "consequences."

  • @AxeGrrrl Thanks Much! Have a great weekend!;-)

  • @guyNbluejeans "maybe I got a little carried away with my rhetoric in this instance. These folks of course have souls but they do strike me as being very misguided. Sorry for some of the over-the-topness ... let's put this behind us and part in peace."

*reaching out to shake your hand* I truly appreciate the gesture guyNbluejeans, thanks very much :) Especially in a youtube comments section! anyway, thank you

  • The tranquil state you go into when you are near death, is a cushioning mechanism of the brain.

Your life flashing before your eyes is a mechanism to quickly scan your brain to see if there is any experience or information that could help you survive.

Out of body experience is an aftershock of restarting a brain that stopped completely.

These are all instinctive functionalities of your brain. There is no soul, spirit, God, magic, aliens, vampire hunters or peanutbutter involved in any of this.
