Ken Hurley performs this piano solo at the Great Western Fan Festival at the Save Mart Arena in Fresno, CA on May 1, 2009. This lively piano piece starts off as a classical number, but quickly transitions into a lively, foot-tapping version of Lilly of the Valley. Ken is a survivor of polio as a baby in the early 1950's,. He could not play most sports growing up so he focused early on piano. He has played for the New Dawn Singers, the Gospelaires, California Melody Boys and the Chordsmen Quartet.
Wow! Classsical, ragtime, gospel and blues combined for a magnificent performance!

Love this one! I was recording from a slightly different angle--and have mine on YouTube also! This is a variation of the arrangement Dino Kartsonakis made popular several years ago...well, probably in the '70s or '80s. Ken certainly is a trophy that the west coast can be proud to claim!
