The song is "Eso Beso." Not sure who is singing this version. Song was recorded by Paul Anka in the '50s or '60s, but that version is faster. This one is the strict 50 beats per minute of the dancesport samba.

Fit the tempo, but still keep that effect of making you feel as though you want to dance (I've been calling it the "samba effect").... Buy putting that all aside Slavik and Karina are both great BALLROOM samba dancers, unfortunately Karina's rep went way down with me when she started doing dancing with the stars :-/

I have been told the reason that we say ballroom samba is like bazilian samba is not necessarily because of the look of the dance, but more with the music. After listening to both a true Brazilian samba song and americanized samba beat, both had the same effect on me where... Well, where the music "moved" me, and I began to dance to both.
