I like what I play. Greetings from Bulgaria
-
fusion for the masses, and purism for the God and divine. Even Kartick Kumar Ji in his own times on surbahar has done that... main thing is to keep balance... that is the skill
-
A very sweet rendering of raga Basant mukhari.The artist has nicely played the raga showing nicely the aspects of both Bhairav and Bhairavi.

@dkmkartha Thank You

@CA000000000 It uses Komal Re, Ga, Komal Ma in the first half of the scale and Komal Dha and Komal Ni in the second half of the scale. The first part is like that of Bhairav and the second half is like Bhairavi. Of course, a raaga is much more than a scale. There is an old film song in this raag that begins O Basantee Pavan Paagal from classic Jis Desh Me Ganga Bahatee Hai.

Very traditional backdrop, suits their outfits and Sitar, nice.

@Ganarasika Kumar is still young....give him time. Great musicians never forget their roots and instruction.
-
@clemalford , no Sir, it is raag Basant Mukhari(SA , komal Re, Ga, Ma, Pa, komal Dha, and Komal Ni), in Ahir Bhairav there is Dha (suddha ie. natural), Thankyou.
-
excellant playing, but it is raag -BABANT MUKHARI not Ahir Bhairav,

Niladri Kumar, the son of Pt Kartick Kumar, is playing raag Basant Mukhari so beautifully. I love his music.
God bless our Niladri.
