Spelling Bee Controversy!

While at the spelling bee in Accra, there was a bit of a kerfluffle over what to do when the announced mispronounced a word so horribly that the kid spelled a completely different word (in the kid's defense, the ennunciator really did sound like he said 'quiche' instead of 'kitsch' - or...I think that's how you spell those words...). In the end, the kid was given a new word, spelled it correctly, then promptly fell out in the next round.
