An excerpt from "Hell's Bells 2"; specifically Chapter 2: Sound and Fury: An Examination of the Power of Music

Over three years in the making, this much-anticipated sequel to the original Hell's Bells series weaves together science, satire, testimonies, parables, interviews, expansive research, and a vibrant Christian perspective to create a video series that is as fascinating as it is educational and evangelistic. Far more than just a commentary on the dangers of popular music, this eight-part, six-hour, up-to-the-minute documentary uncovers the "war of the worldviews" - the epic struggle between good and evil, sin and redemption for the souls of men and the destiny of our culture.

Written and hosted by world renowned apologist Eric Holmberg.

"... perhaps the greatest documentary on any subject ever! Lives will change." Ray Comfort - Internationally renowned author and evangelist

"...Movie Guide's highest rating!" Dr. Ted Baehr, Christian Film and Television Commission

  • Christians talking about doublespeak. LOL!

  • @kamlem That lame excuse isn't going to fly when you stand before God on judgment day. There was no doublespeak from Jesus -- and He is the only one that matters. As for His followers well, they're sinners who have been saved by grace. Some don't mature in their walk, others backslide and can succumb to one of Jesus' most hated sins: hypocrisy. And the are also more than a few fake believers in the ranks. There are also many, many straight talkers. Your charge is irrelevant & doublespeak.

  • LOL Oh yes, by all means, let's trot out Courtney Love when pretending to have a serious discussion about music. These morons may as well have used the writers of the latest Swiffer jingle.

  • @WilliamBlackWolf There's logic for you. Present hundreds of examples covering a broad range of tastes and styles. Then have someone pick out one person they don't like, do an ad hominem on them, and then reject the entire apologetic. You are destined for great things in life. I pray that they don't continue in the afterlife.

  • @VorthosForum In this case it's not an apologetic, it's a polemic, and a very poor one at that. Myself and others have pointed out the myriad nonfactual statements and conspiratorial distortions and utter nonsense presented in this video. The fact that Courtney Love is trotted out as a subject for an ostensibly meaningful critique of Rock music, just shows how silly the whole endeavour is, once one realises how shoddy all Holmberg's arguments are besides.

  • @razputin34 I don't know much about the backward masking. I don't believe satan wants people to worship him as much as he would rather people worship anything OTHER THAN God. We are enticed & drawn away by our own lusts. Yes speculating that he was the music minister being he is himself a musical instrument. Found sum verses on him for those who care. isaiah 14:12, Ezekiel 28, john 8:44, john 17, Rev. 12, 2 cor. 4:4 calls him the god of this world & Jesus recounts seeing him fall from heaven.

  • @heavensclown Is that not highly speculative though? Even I accept that Lucifer here is actually Satan, which is hotly debated among scholars, can I jump to a conclusion that Satan was the musical minister in Heaven? I think that involves major speculation and assumption. You are drawing a great many conclusions from one passage in scripture. I don't doubt that Satan influences culture for his gain, but this stuff with Robert Johnson and backward masking has no real credibility.

  • @razputin34 It's interesting that Lucifer (or satan) in the bible is described as having musical pipes in his body which made him an organic musical instrument. (Ezekiel 28:13) Many maintain that when lucifer communicated, he didn't speak with words.. he spoke with music. Many theologians I have spoken with over the years say that Lucifer (covering cherub) was the musical worship leader of Heaven. It's obvious that a tool of deception would be music, he is a by design a master muscian.

  • @razputin34 Iron shapens iron brother. There are accounts in the Old Testament where false prophets were able to duplicate the miracles performed by God's chosen. Satan isn't as powerful as God, nor is he everywhere, all knowing, or omnipitant. I have this video Hells Bells 2 and I find it to be very compelling. Music is a very powerful tool used by Satan and it definately influences people, especially young people.
