Jeff Baxter just can't measure up to Elliott Randall.

...tambourine player is David Palmer...added to the band to cover vocals for Fagen when he had bouts of stage fright...

I can. In my opinion, the last decent thing Fagen did was The Nightfly. And the hardware they both took home for that 2000 LP was nothing more than a legacy grammy. They SHOULD have won several grammies for the work they did in the 1970s.

It's Jimmy Page's favorite solo. . for whatever that's worth.

A real fist class jerk. Saw him at the 1990 Winter NAMM show. I saw someone walk up to him and attempt to ask him a technical question about that fender strat he owns (the one with the acrylic body). Skunk said, "I don't talk to neophytes...you obviously know nothing about electronics." I couldn't imagine anyone in uniform (or working for a defense contractor) who would take orders from that self-important creep.

that was after Pretzel Logic. And Skunk Baxter wasn't dumped; He left to join the Doobie brothers.
