@callumazoo11 mexican strat. you're getting similar sounds with single coil pickups as you would with two humbuckers, except with the les paul you're not getting the tremolo bridge for whammy sounding riffs. and strats are much more comfortable and just look awesome

The firts classic players that came out had original USA custom shop 69 pickups (with the AY initials). Then they switched to MIM pickups with the same specs I guess. I wonder how that affected the tone. I have one of the first ones with custom shop pickups.

to people who're having difficulties deciding between american and mexican:
remember this you only have to buy american 1 time and you can use it till the day you die.

AMERICAN STANDARDS RULE BIGTIME, I have 3, and a strat plus, would never have anything less than a usa standard, when I got my first one, the mexico strat got sold asap, no comparison amn

To follow up, I bought a white Mexican Stratocaster, sorry not from Nevada Music UK as I'm in the States. Loving it, glad I did. Great demos, thanks for putting these up and helping me with my decision. :)
