Thank you to all of our Bainbridge Island customers participating in the Demand Response Pilot program. We are committed to working with our island customers to help you be energy efficient. And we are equally committed to providing you with safe, reliable energy options.

The equipment supplier for the Bainbridge Island Demand Response Pilot program recently informed Puget Sound Energy that potential battery leakage in White-Rogers thermostats (model number #1F88) may result in overheating of the unit and create a potential fire hazard. White-Rodgers advises that the thermostats should not be used with batteries.

Please immediately remove the batteries from the White-Rodgers thermostat.
Do not replace with new batteries.
