This is part three from JMJ's 1986 album, "Rendez-vous." This particular composition is notable for featuring, among other things, a performance on a laser harp. The album also features a beautiful composition entitled "Ron's Piece", which is dedicated to astronaut and fellow musician Ron McNair, who was one of the seven astronauts killed in the Challenger accident.
The video itself consists of some random space art that I found on Google, similar to the ones that I used in my video featuring Vangelis's end theme from "The Bounty."
Much in the same way that Jarre dedicated "Ron's Piece" to Ron McNair, I have dedicated this video to Ashley T., AKA antiquelens, a YouTube user and fellow Canadian whom I admired very much for her intelligence and courage in standing up to an industry that most other users vigorously defend despite the fact that it harms both its participants and its consumers. (And no, I will not name the industry, as doing so would only attract trolls.) I therefore saw her as the voice of reason in an often-irrational world. Unfortunately, her stance often made her a target of scorn and ridicule.
In a violent act of censorship, antiquelens's channel was terminated by some sexist douchebag. Although she later established a new channel, as owleyes777, it only lasted two months before she was forced to close her account due to doc-dropping by her opponents. It has recently come to my attention that her resignation (or whatever you want to call it) was largely brought on by a campaign of harrassment led by the psychopath known as 27333ytiniviD (spell it backwards to get the user's real name.) As a result, one of YouTube's greatest minds has been lost, possibly forever.
However, to paraphrase a line from the unofficial final episode of "Space: 1999" (the German version of which, incidentally, used another JMJ composition - "Oxygene, part 2" - as its theme music): "To Ash, wherever you may go on your onward journey, our hearts will go with you, and hope for reunion in the future will not fade."
And yes, I know that this isn't exactly her kind of music, but I think that she'd at least appreciate the support.
On a final note, I wish to give apologies (and thanks) to T0y0Tac0roll4, for providing me with the music.
And one more thing - if anyone nevertheless does decide to post hateful comments against antiquelens, such comments will be immediately deleted and the user blocked.
beautiful album, thanks for the video :)

@kikehippo It is interesting to note that you posted your comment almost exactly 25 years after the Challenger disaster, being off by only one day.
