Gamer #2: No. Most of KK's cast is nothing like SFII's. It also has Desperation Moves, the ability to break through the walls of the stage, has even more powerful basic attacks beyond the standard Heavy Punch and Kick, up to a total of five levels, and has certain stages included special zones to power up different characters abilities, which could be accessed by using a Crush Attack.
Gamer #1: It's still a SFII clone.
Gamer #2: Then SFII is Karate Champ + Yie Ar Kung-Fu.
