You can't beat the Hoosier state when it comes to sprint car racing, Pennsy is great too, but being a Hoosier I am proud of the tracks and drivers we've home grown. Double D Dave Darland is another of my favorites, along with Stan the man. I was at Kokomo once for a outlaw show, I didn't care for the track all that much, I caught a rock right between the eyes. They'd just changed the length or width that winter, Steve's and his son had one hell of a race till steve's wing was knocked sideways

ive raced there in a wingless sprint car and on the start some guy in front of me ate it big time by hitting that spot.

There's that one bad spot going into one that gets everybody. The've tried for years to fix that spot and still can't get it.
