I've been into them since Krl. Is., got 1,000 lakes the week it came out, and same for Elegy... But this is their best album. After all these years there is still more to hear in here.

Pasi's voice is just natural for doom metal..so are his lyrics.
I haven't seen a band that makes doom metal better than amorphis.

I love how this band didn't give a stuff about "metal stereotypes"and included sax and flute on some albums, or psychedelic keyboards. Didn't one album also have piano accordian in it somewhere as well?

One of their best albums, indeed. I like Am Universum with Pasi and Eclipse with Tomi the most. Best two albums, and they both have amazing vocals... Otherwise the rest of their albums are still good, also their oldest growling stuff with other Tomi :) They are Amorphis - simply great, and it doesn't matter who sings for them... The Amorphis athmosphere is always there.

No matter if new or old, pop or not, I love the band, and I think that all albums have something to offer and also stuff that I do not like. Agree on the albums you mention, especially Am Universum and Elegy. I like the way the band does renew itself and does not repeat the same thing on every album...
