  • This is just a continuation of the other 6 deaths in extreme "sweat lodges" lead by New Age frauds. It wasn't the wasn't the wrong materials in the lodge, it was the WRONG PEOPLE in the lodge. The person who had the AUDACITY to create a cult around himself is always to blame. Archie Lame Deer, Sun Bear, David Jarvis and James Ray - all those narcisists who sell out NATIVE religion and make themselves leaders in order to gain financially. That is the problem. Outsiders must stop mimicking us!

  • James Arthur Ray, like other nuagers, worships money, the free market, capitalism and Corporate personhood. If you want to call that the devil, only then can I agree with you. There is NOTHING pagan about his cult - it's a cult build around white middle class Christian, Capitalist values. If you want to talk about evil, take a good look at your own culture.

  • LOL!! This makes me laugh! People shouldnt do something they know nothing about i always do sweat lodges me and my dad make them. But that's because we know exactly what we are doing. Thats their fault they died point blank.

  • If the Native Americans will not teach their beliefs to other 'peoples' then it leaves an opening for frauds to rob the gullible. OK whites lost their connection to nature centuries ago but is it so wrong that some are trying to find it again? Sweating ceremonies existed in Europe centuries ago but have been forgotten these days, all most Europeans and their descendants can do is try to capture their past by following the example of others, who still remember their traditions.

  • WHY DIDN'T THEY JUST F-ING LEAVE? SOME PEOPLE WILL FALL FOR ANYTHING. THESE PEOPLE SHOULDN'T BE BREEDING THEIR STUPID GENES INTO THE AMERICAN POPULATION ANYWAY.

  • i hope this bad dude is in jail. he should be.. what a horror. anyone who would give him another dollar is as evil.

  • i hope this bad dude is in jail. he should be.. what a horror.

  • @baitscene hes a fucking greedy idiot. he shouldn't be doing these ceremonies hes white not native american. these things aren't for white people to attend or sell out for their own money. sweat lodges are scared and have huge ties to the community not your self. native american religous beliefs are intended are native americans only. our connections are with our ancestors which are not white. this knowledge of what a sweat lodge is intended for is for a better understanding of our culture

  • James is no indian he is a con.

  • @baitscene

What you need to understand that: In this case he was the one controlling what happened, not the people that paid for the seminar. He barred people from leaving the tent and obviously didn't have the training to do this kind of thing or his followers wouldn't have died!

Go ahead and be a brainwashed part of his cult just don't come crying to me when you get hurt or someone you love dies.

  • Ask yourself, these people are not to partake in these rituals. It's like giving acid to old people or teenagers they are going to freak out..... You need to let go it's a journey. If death is your destination so be it. Have plenty of water like 6L with you, and have some one select hot stone who's not, chocked full of entities. And you will be fine, let i am relese your spirit.

  • I do not feel so sorry for the idiots that followed this Con Man James Arthur Ray and died in a Sweat Lodge Ceremony. I feel sorry for their Families who have to pick up the pieces.

    .

James Arthur Ray promised better careers, more money, success, influence with people, and a selfish Self Centered way to expand ones life. The people who died wanted MORE MORE MORE out of life instead of being happy with what they had. ERGO...they died for their own GREED of "getting ahead".

    Sad and pathetic.
