Game Music Appreciation Theater - Batman Return of the Joker

Hey everyone on this episode of GMAT its Batman Return of the Joker brought to us by Sunsoft. The same team that worked on the first Batman game for the NES. The music was composed by the same two great composers as well. Nabuyuki Hara and Naoki Kodaka. Enjoy!

video game music is so under appreciated these days that compared with the music of today that probably in some peoples mind would never consider game music to be "music". However, i think that video game music has come a long way and can be just as meaningful and powerful as any pop music that is out there, its just sadly overlooked. (I.e final fantasy). Game music now is very widely appreciated through many mediums though it goes about it very subtlely. These tracks are a foundation of games.

I remember stage 3's music. It's my favorite! It had a very lonely, somber and serious tone to it. It captured the depressing mood of that stage perfectly.

Personally I loved this game as a kid. And the music to me was awesome. Thanks for including this. And I just now realized from listening to the ending theme again, its the same song from the end credits to the 89 Batman movie:

I love the first batman's soundtrack but this one is just awesome I think it's more fast paced and riveting but overall I like them both on the same level.
