PLEASE READ:

This is an informational video on how to squeeze notes for drums. Feel free to ask any questions in the comments section, because I'm sure I worded things kind of weird.

Here's a great link to a quick reference guide for overdrive paths (for setlist)! It includes the squeeze notes for each particular song. http://rockband.scorehero.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8856&start=0

Zartemus worded how a squeeze worked almost down to a tee. Quoted/Edited from Zartemus' comment:

"There are HIDDEN NOTES at the end of a fill, under the green note. Since the hitbox for notes are a tad large in RB, you can hit the green slightly early, snag the overdrive, and then hit the hidden notes for extra points (200 per note squeezed). It's treated at a 1/32 note."

EDIT: The text should read 205,150 to 205,750 before the Orange Crush squeeze demonstration. I wrote 204,150 to 204,750.

  • helpful guideline... i just hate that it is even in the damn game... the amount of times i've lost on score duels while getting 100 and using the same OD path is just painful... im gonna learn this now, but harmonix should really fix this...

  • @Jvp92 I think you meant "winning an internet argument." Arguments and debate are rather important and should not be discouraged.

Also, arguing on the internet is like competing in the Special Olympics: you don't need anyone's goddamn approval to feel good about yourself.

  • Fuck it. I don't play Rockband for scores.

  • You must have to know the song you're playing though. For the most part, this is something that pros should be doing and not the average gamer.

  • @elgrabadula yes

  • cool thanks

  • or you hit the wrong fills

try hitting fills that are followed by heavy notes

like if theres a chorus after this fill dont do this fill wait till the next comes up with a more difficult part you get more points :)

  • does this apply to rock band 2?

  • Thanks for this vid man. It's very helpfull.

  • bad path?

  • the last note at the end of od sometimes you dont hit it in time causing you to lose points
