I still think it's not about the mascara itself, but more about HOW you apply it.

I have this mascara and it doesnt flake or have any "fall out" or clump at all. Not even a little. And im veryyy picky when it comes to mascara. So either you had on mascara before hand and it just mixed with this one or something. Your the first person ive seen complain about it.
