*** A big 'thank you' to 'VideoBrute' for the game cartridge and for reintroducing me to it after so many years! I never believe I would see it again.
*** Keyboard play at one credit
This is what you get when established creation is being redefined by the intervention of greater imagination and creativity.
This game Street Fighter II Champion Edition 降龍 ('Xianglong' or 'Kouryu' for starters) is the BEST redefined Street Fighter II game by the Taiwanese that I have ever known and enjoyed - even better than the Rainbow versions.
This game features instant counter moves (very akin to Zero or Alpha counter in the later Street Fighter Zero/Alpha series except that in this game it is much more effective, doesn't require the use of a power gauge, has no lightning effect and your opponent won't be repelled in a blue spinning motion), instant dizzy recoveries, diagonal-moving projectiles, air-stepping, very loose throws, ending music used for E. Honda's stage instead of his original music, (check out Ryu's red velvet karate gi!) and the occasional BLACKOUT (that fortunately happens only on the last stage in this video).
And yes, I can easily pull off a 3-hit uppercut combo even with the keyboard, BUT when the uppercut hits at the end of the combo the accompanying fireballs DON'T, so it's pointless.
It's much more fun to be at a distance and do that God-enhanced uppercut instead.
Happy watching!
