Nortel Norstar: what is Paging. And, what IS NOT Paging

the term "Paging" is frequently mis-used by end users. No fault there. It's just to a seasoned phone veteran (like the nortel guy), it's important to be precise because the functions are quite different. There are other terms that are often confused with paging such as "INTERCOM, and Hands Free Answer Back (Voice Call). This video describes each of these and explains the differences. Also, some examples of different styles of paging on the Norstar are demonstrated.

For some reason "voice call" vorks the same as intercom but feature 66 works as voice call on all my 7310 phones

I actually bought a couple AT&T phones (1070) and they do everything the nortel ones do except they don't need a system.

I'll keep my m7310's for another time. Thanks for all your help.
