"Holocaust" (1978) mini-series. Directed by Marvin Chomsky. With James Woods, Meryl Streep and Michael Moriarty.

Holocaust follows the tragedy and triumph of the Weiss family of Berlin and intertwines their fate as European Jews with the story of a German family, the Dorfs, whose members include a high-ranking Nazi officer. Filmed on location in Germany and Austria, Holocaust uses the stories of these fictional families to portray the atrocities against the Jewish people from the 1930s to 1945, and presents a heart-wrenching portrait of their struggle.

This is the anniversary edition released in the U.S. and Canada in 2008.

The Nazi wanted to rally Muslims against the Jews.

They develop a SS Division with North Africans that will fight in Yugoslavia to defend Bosnians against Serbs. They tried to hire Muslim Tartars in their SS Division to fight the Red Army.

They develop contacts with the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt to develop a network of terror against the British. Al-Hannan ?

Some former SS officers moved to Egypt to serve under Nasser.

Iran was their friend until the Shah was overthrown.

I was in Auschwitz for years. This film is pure propaganda. It is false. Germans treated prisoners with dignity and respect.
