there it not any point to get a good lather!

I use the Smoothing. Its not supposed to lather. If you ran out that fast you used too much. Plus to get the full effect from the shampoo you have to use the conditioner.

Try awapuhi wild ginger line by Paul Mitchell. That's probably one of the best lines they have out right now.

I use the super skinny paul mitchell shampoo & conditioner , and You're right not really much of a difference /: , Although the Serum works great! I'm a guy with really course hair I use it after straightening my hair.

@LOZfan101 Where did you hear that Lathering is bad? Lather is determined on what kind of formula for one, and If a shampoo lathers that means that there are proteins in it. And this is coming from a Paul Mitchell Future Professional.

Re: the lathering, sulfate-free & low sulfate shampoos don't lather as much as others do. However, used correctly, it will clean your scalp & hair. In the case of concentrated products, such as Paul Mitchell , you should use less per use. When shampooing, put a bit in your palm & rub your hands together to emulsify & get it all over your hands. Then slide your hands in at the scalp and begin to lather. Slide hands in at front & back then on left & right and begin to "lather".

@fiz593 if you are having dry scalp problems i would recommend you use the tea tree lavender mint moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. It had amazing moisture capabilities, and will help stimulate your scalp. I would also recommend anything from the moisture line. I hope that helps!

Lather=bad. I'm a straight boy and even i know that -____-
(2) You should always use a cleanser first, then use your shampoo to do the specific job, which in your case is to smooth and de-frizz! You said that its not one of your favourites but I think if you found out the correct way to use it then you might change your mind! Hope that helped!

Did ur hair styler recommend those products to you? Because they are not right for your hair and your hair cut is alright but there are some problems with it. I suggest trying different Paul Mitchell products to see what they can do for your hair. But, another suggestion is to switch hair styles or hair stylists.
And two things contribute to staticky hair. 1) thin hair 2)dry winter weather
if youre using thinning shampoo then thats probablyyy not a good idea, use Paul Mitchell moisture (:
