This is a short clip of an animation i created using warcraft models and my own character models. The goal was to reseach the different responce to motion capture animation. This is just a small clip of the full animation.

  • ur obsessed with wow aren't you lol, do you remake or use the standard wow 3dmodels?

  • @nitrofreeze I use exported wow models for most wow content, but i aint done any wow related model stuff for about a year. this is old

  • this would be mutch more nicer if u added blood :) but that wont say its bad but it looks a little more realistic with blood :D great animation

  • thanks, this anim was a few years back now and ive learnt like 1 million times more but thanks..

  • Not bad, the animation is ok, but some of the sword swings lacked a certain "oomph". The sword needs to extend fully from the character when he/she completes a swing. The sword moves too, not just the hand. The landing animation seemed off too, for the legs to stay straight while landing would really rumble the ground! Anyways. I'm very happy to see to see other animator's work. It's harder than it looks even with the amazing tools we have now.

  • Well, i did it this vid about a week into learning animation so its not bad at all for that standard. I am however much much better now :) You are refering to secondary animaiton too. Thanks for the comment.

  • This is great, but when he's roaring, it looks weird, especially with the music, since this is motion capt, did you decide on any other pose besides that one?

  • how'd you get the background, like stormwind and the hills and shit?

  • @bliofet from wow model wiever u cant open a .wmo models a then choose buildings in azeroth and that's it ! then export in .Obj or whatever u need it (i dont know which platform of 3d do u use usually, for example i use maya then is best for me .obj like I sad ) ... a little note..in WMW u need confirm which models can u see actually ... down in left corner u can change it (usually is set on .m2 models...change on WMO).... enjoy ^^ i hope it helps :P
