@derrick072 I've read in several places and also people told me about it that Chinese people are kinda racist. How were you treated while there?

@zkk17 Quite the opposite. I was treated like a celebrity as with anyone who is non Asian that visits china. In upcoming episodes you will see how I am treated as my days there progress.

<3 my moms hometown is changsha, i was born rasied in canada but i miss changsha alot, i go every summer, by any chance did u see "DAYLIGHT" donuts - ergh - good. anyways - behind u @ 41:80 is subway in construction - should be done in a few years, also the violin player at pizza hut WANGFUJING i pay him alot to listen :) i have been to every place in changsha & i miss it alot (wanda plaza) and (ktv) alot of places its like my 2nd home <3

Ah, I met a group of college students from Shanghai, and other various parts of China. Oh man, I have never enjoyed spending time with people as much as Chinese people. Plus, they play quite fun drinking games. Some day I hope to do what you have done here, Derrick.

Thanks for this video. I want to visit Changsha and wonder if there are many places for us English speaking Chinese to feel like home. I am from Vancouver, Canada. By the way, if I visit I am sold on the Sheraton Hotel. Is your friend still working there? Perhaps he will offer me a discount rate :)!

hey derrick! i love your changsha doccumentry! it reminds me SO much about changsha! i go there every summer, cuase my mom is from changsha. I was born and raised in canada, but I AM chinese. I just wanted to ask did you see "daylight donuts" cuz i love that place alot down on WUYI DA DAO - WANDA plaza. I know every place in changsha! To me - its one of the best places, its like my 2nd home <3 please reply :) i subbed
