PETA kills animals themselves, while openly threatening to kill other people who eat meat.
Also, PETA values animal life above human life, and stands in the way of any kind of medical treatment.
Why doesn't the government ban PETA?

ya know that guy that gave the speech about the bunny, apple and the baby never said the rabbit couldn't be cooked. the kid WILL eat the bunny so WHERE"S MY CAR, PAL???

I don't support your idea of total animal liberation. I do however support the idea of animal liberation from places of exploitation, abuse and confinement. I think all wild animals in circuses should be released into sanctuaries, that sort of thing. And if a couple million of those sheep you mentioned were being abused, they should be released into sanctuaries too. I completely support the destruction of the factory farm.

@LegendxWind No no no no, that is not what I had said. I said that if we as a society banned meat and/or animal products most of the animals that are now in "captivity"(I put in quotations becase animal liberators often include pets). That is what liberation means, it would mean an immediate and complete stop of all animal enslavement. Meat would become illegal. Now think about this. New Zealand has 120 million sheep. What will they do with them after? Can you answer this?

The world would not go vegetarian over night, rather the demand for meat would slowly drop, and as supply and demand dictates, the supply would begin to decrease and less animals would consequently be bred in their place until eventually, it is no longer profitable to breed them and they would merely stop.

Has anyone thought about what would happen to all the chickens, cows, pigs, sheep, cats and dogs, if they were all "liberated".
Because they are nobodys property now no one has an incentive to take care of them, most of these animals would now be running around unsupervised, they would become a nuissance. And do you know what we would do, we would kill most of them to get them out of the way. Animal liberation will do exactly that, liberate all those animals of their lives.

We should set loose some poisonous snakes at their head quarters and see the magic happen.
I'm in all support of lethal violence to stop PETA.

(Also...) Euthanasia is a viable option for a sick animal, as well for sick humans. As long as their illness cannot be cured by any method that has been attempted. Death is a natural part of life and sometimes is the fairer option. If euthanasia is needed due to animal neglect (which it is very often with pets), then the guilty party should pay justly. If you want a pet, you should take care of it - if you do not, you should feel the sting of a reinvented court system.

I do not understand why there cannot be center in this debate. Pets should not see harm or abuse, without absolute and extreme consequence (which would be equal to the torture, abuse and murder of humans). Animal testing should only be used in extreme life and death medical research. Animals used for food should experience a decent quality of life before death. Diets should be determined by what you wish to eat, but proper information (such as pectin in jam) shall be shown. Also I am omnivorous.

PETA members don't support any exploitation of any animals. So what happens when they are bitten by a poison snake? Would they not take the anti-venom that was made by exploiting the same animal that is trying to kill them?
