Been dying to make Chinese Button Knot into wires, and finally made it to the success after 1.5 years of continuous attempts. Bravo to myself, and thank you for everyone for your continuous support and interest.

  • That's called a 'monkeys fist',-a Naval term, used to weight a line in order to throw it from one vessel to another, -works well here though, as an artistic knot

  • @iaingbrennan it's not.

  • Looks like this was done with coiled wire.. which would make it very difficult to close up. If someone wants to charge a fee for a tutorial that is their business. If you don't want to pay for it then you can just take your own time and do research and take a year to figure it out for yourself. Get your rattail out and practice tying these knots so you know the difference. Nobody works for free..but I will take pizza and beer.

  • Can this knot be tied with 4 gauge jumper cables wire?? Would a hangman's noose be easier??

  • @inbuenosaires Also, honestly speaking, as a crafter i buy tutorial eventhough i could have reverse engineer mot of the designs. Set your expectation right before you buy, the only thing i can promise you is that, should you follow all steps in my tutorial, you will be able to reproduce what I've taught.

  • @inbuenosaires and If you care enough to give it a try, you will know it's harder than you would have thought, especially this wired treasury knot. Many crafters have attempted this knot but failed, It took me more than 1 year to finally made it into a success WITH wires, may be I am slow, but I have made it in the end.

    Hi Trey,

Tutorial sold are not refundable as it's in digital format, it's in T&C & I am sure this condition is not foreign to you, each artist deliver their course the best way they could, I'd appreciate it if you would respect me as an artist that paid effort in making all steps as clear as possible to help whoever that's genuinely want to make this knot with wires.

  • I actually call that a monkeys' fist or is that different?

  • @corraliew I agree. So, you're welcome. :)
