In Alaska, an oil drilling team struggle to survive after a plane crash strands them in the wild. Hunting the humans are a pack of wolves who see them as intruders.
Director: Joe Carnahan Stars: Liam Neeson, Dermot Mulroney and Frank Grillo
@Haesyx I know why they are attacking in the movie. I won't say that if a wolf was being attacked and had no other recourse, that is, it couldn't run away, it would try to defend itself until it could run away, but once able to get away, it would not go after a person for revenge. It would go hide. That is what it would do. Period. They don't think like people in that way. People kill for sport. Wolves kill for food, and we aren't on their menu.
@CajCoo NO, they would NOT. It is NOT their nature. I work with them, I know them, I have read the history and studied them. They simply do NOT act this way. PEOPLE act this way. Wolves don't. They are one of the most maligned and misunderstood species out there. It is because of fairytales and movies like this that people think that they are vicious and agressive. But believe what you want.... you will anyway. Just don't take it out on them. They just want to live their lives. Just like you.
@turdmen111 What you don't get is that's a bunch of nonsense. There hasn't been a single person killed in the lower 48 states in the last hundred years, which as long as records have been kept. They don't hunt people. With their return to Yellowstone and all of the people going there to observe them, if this movie had even the slightest basis in reality, it would have been a blood bath, but people hardly even see them there, they are so shy. And not One person has been attacked by them there.
@irishmauler1 you see though, i spent 2 years in colorado, i was around wolves territory and i often was in areas where wolves would hunt, feed and breed, wolves dont attack humans and thier cubs have the same isntincts they do-if they see people they run. if anything they're afraid of humans, if you were to attack a wolf chances are the pack would run.
@Theanimatedcow like i said the surivors were near the den could = cubs. the wolves then would perceive them as a threat and attack or there a type of animal thats classified as a rogue im not sure if thats the right name for it but its were they start attacking people but im not sure if this is true thought it would have to be reseached
@irishmauler1 uhm yes. but in real life wolves dont attack people regardless if thier near the den or not. if wolves see a human thier instinct is to run. wolves dont want to be seen by people. period.
@Theanimatedcow in the movie the survivors are near the wolves den so the wolves perceive them as a threat to the cubs or they think there territory is being invaded
it's like wolverine... just more realistic..

Hmm... They don't show the last second or two of this trailer in the movie. Liam Neeson's character moves about an inch then it cuts to black.
